Black and White
When I saw this bamboo-pattern top in Romford British Heart Foundation shop, I knew it would make a very striking outfit with black trousers. The best part is, it was the right size, so there were no alterations necessary! I picked this up for £3.50. At that price, it would have been rude not to. It’s 100% acrylic and feels very synthetic to the touch.
It’s all Greek to me
OK, I admit that I bought this garment as a challenge. It is hands down the ugliest garment I’ve ever seen. It would be difficult to conceive a garment that had less potential than this 100% polyester monstrosity that looks like something Pat Butcher might wear on laundry day.
Dot Cotton
Next up I’ve refashioned another find from my trip to Barking: this bright red polka dot skirt. This is also from Scope, and a bargain at £3 reduced from £4!
First post!
Welcome to my blog!
For my first post, I’ll be refashioning this military shirt I bought from Scope in Barking. This is a genuine ex-military shirt in olive green and it cost me the princely sum of £2.
