Japanese, if you please
On a (charity-)shopping trip to West Ealing recently I saw this t-shirt through the window of the British Heart Foundation and it was love at first sight. That doesn’t often happen to me, but this shirt is pretty special.
Isn’t it just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, ever in the whole of today? I also fell in love with the price – £3.25. It has a gather detail on the sleeves taking it from basic t-shirt into “top” territory. As it’s “pre-loved” the material has that soft feel of having been washed 100 times. Since I bought this last week it’s become a firm favourite. Here’s a quick pic of me modelling it in Greenwich park on Saturday. It was the first sunny day of the year and the park was crammed with people sunbathing. Sunbathing? In March?!
Sally, love!
I had no idea… These are great. So nice of you to rescue these pieces. I’m endlessly impressed by you (and you that it was just your tv knowledge I was after). I’ve always had fantasies of altering my own clothes but….. Maybe you can give us lessons??

Ha, tell you what, you move to London and I’ll give you sewing lessons – deal? ;-)
Thanks for leaving a lovely comment, that was very kind of you. The blog is a new project and I’m really having fun with it. There are some ‘interesting’ garments coming up, stay tuned! xx
