Going with the Denim theme, I’m starting with this pair of jeans from Scope in Lewisham (£4). They are a nice dark, even colour with a little bit of stretch.
I’m planning on making a denim skirt. Not your ordinary, run of the mill denim skirt, but something a bit more fancy. A sectioned pencil skirt with mini-peplums at the sides.
Hi everyone, since so many people requested that I wear last week’s white shirt with skinny jeans or leggings, I thought I’d try out a couple of outfits so you can see how it looks.
Here it is with sequinned leggings.
This is the final part of the denim series, at least for now… hope you have enjoyed reading.
It’s a good old denim jacket!
Again this came from Thrift Town in San Francisco ($7.99). I had several denim jackets that I was looking at, trying to decide which one to get. I eventually settled on this Calvin Klein jacket in traditional indigo blue. It’s really well worn; the cuffs are falling apart and the collar is fraying. It’s so well worn that the denim is really soft to the touch and not at all cardboard-y. It just feels good to wear!
It’s time for part 5 of the series! Yes, it’s another pair of jeans. These also came from the Mind shop in Whitby, but these were only £4.25.
The fit is a lot better than last week’s pair, but still, they were pretty boring and needed a bit of something special.
Out came the scissors…
Here’s Project #4 in my denim series. It’s a pair of jeans; possibly the most unflattering jeans in the world.
I paid £4.50 in the Mind shop in Whitby for these babies.
The third piece in this denim series is also from my massive Thrift Town haul – this time it’s a denim dress. I paid $7.99.
This dress is made of lightweight denim and has a polo-shirt style collar and cuffs. There’s a button missing too!
This story starts with a pair of jeans.
They fit relatively well when I bought them as part of my massive haul from Thrift Town in San Francisco a few months back ($5.99). Unfortunately boot cut is not the most flattering on me… I only wear skinnies!
Inspiration for these jeans came from Isabel Marant S/S 12… aren’t they fabulous!
Oooh, another mini-series! This one is going to be about refashioning using denim.
To make this a bit more interesting, I’m adding some…. LEATHER. I put this in caps because it’s the first time I’ve worked with LEATHER and it was rather daunting…
